SAPD investigating fatal East Side pedestrian hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that took the life of a pedestrian early Monday morning.

According to KSAT, the accident was reported at about 4:30 a.m. at the Ivy Apartments within the 4500 block of Lavender Lane near the intersection with W.W. White Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the 27-year-old male victim lying dead in the parking lot with a tire track across his body.

No identifying information about the driver has been made available at this time. However, police recovered a license plate at the scene.
