SAPD respond to hit-and-run crash on E. Southcross

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio responded to a hit-and-run collision south of downtown last Wednesday night.

The accident occurred at about 7:18 p.m. within the 100 block of East Southcross just east of the intersection with Pleasanton Road.

Investigators believe an unidentified driver made an unsafe lane change at a high rate of speed when they collided with the rear passenger’s side of a 2018 Ford.

No further details regarding the identity of the driver responsible or their vehicle have been made available at this time.
