Semi-truck collision blocks all lanes on Loop 1604

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio were forced to shut down several lanes on Loop 1604 following an 18-wheeler crash Saturday morning.

The accident occurred sometime before 10 a.m. along the westbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Stone Oak, according to KSAT.

No details with regard to the circumstances leading up to the crash or the identity of the driver have been released at this time. However, all westbound lanes were closed for several hours causing significant delays for motorists in the area throughout Saturday morning.

Police have not reported any injuries as a result of the accident.
