Semi-truck passenger dies following blowout on FM 725

SEGUIN, TX – A passenger was killed and a driver was hospitalized after a fiery semi-truck crash in Seguin, KSAT reports.

The semi-truck driver was heading east on I-10 when his tire blew out. The truck then drove off a bridge, crashed onto FM 725 below, and caught fire.

First responders arrived on the scene around 7 a.m. and pronounced the passenger dead. The driver was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Officials have not released the names of the victims at this time.
