SAN ANTONIO, TX – A late-night semi collision on Loop 410 resulted in a damaged bridge as well as cargo spilling across the freeway late Monday night.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred at about 9 pm. near the exit to Fredricksburg Road when the driver of the truck failed to negotiate a turnaround and ended up nearly careening off the bridge.

The driver was uninjured as a result of the crash. However, both the truck and bridge were damaged. Officials say the bridge only sustained cosmetic damages, making it still safe for San Antonio commuters.
