BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department reported potentially serious injuries resulting from a vehicle vs. semi collision last Wednesday.
The accident happened along State Route 550 just west of Padres Line Roat near the Palo Alto Battlefield at about 9:20 a.m.
Officials at the scene believe a 37-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2006 Ford was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided head-on with the front passenger’s side of a 2021 Kensworth truck.
The driver of the Ford reportedly sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Details regarding his condition have not yet been released.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
