Several hurt after 3-vehicle crash in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Three people were reportedly injured as the result of a collision involving three vehicles near I-169 earlier this month.

The April 5th collision took place at about 4:44 p.m. along FM 511 at the intersection with Old Alice Road.

Officers say the driver of a 2016 Buick, a 33-year-old woman, drove through the stop sign and collided with a 2015 Ford. A third vehicle, a 2021 Toyota was also involved in the crash.

Two occupants in the Buick, including the driver, along with the 71-year-old man in the Ford sustained minor injuries in the crash.
