Several injuries reported following 3-vehicle crash in Pharr

PHARR, TX – Officials with the Pharr Police Department have reported at least five injuries resulting from a chain-reaction, rear-end collision last Sunday evening.

The crash occurred at the intersection of West Ferguson Avenue and North Sugar Road at about 5:48 p.m. when the 18-year-old male driver of a 2008 Ford failed to notice stopped or slowed traffic in front of him and collided with the rear of a 2017 Ford. The force of the initial crash sent the second vehicle into the rear of a 2004 Ford carrying four people.

All occupants in the 2004 Ford, including two children, were injured as a result of the crash. The driver in the second vehicle, a 42-year-old man, also sustained injuries in the crash.

The 18-year-old man was uninjured in the crash.
