Several Injuries Reported Following High-Speed Collision in Northwest San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Suspected racing caused a pile-up resulting in several injuries, including two children, on the Northwest Side late Sunday night.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Loop 410 near the exit to Callaghan Road at about 11:30 p.m., according to KSAT.

Police believe an unclear number of motorists racing down the roadway led to the collision that involved eight vehicles. Details regarding the exact circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Several people were treated and released by paramedics at the scene. No other serious injuries were reported as a direct result of the collision.
