Several storage units destroyed in Bexar County fire

SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least six storage units were completely destroyed following an east Bexar County fire Tuesday night.

According to WOAI, the fire was reported shortly before 9 p.m. at a storage facility along Highway 87 near the intersection with Stuart Road.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered flames shooting out of multiple units. The blaze was upgraded to a two-alarm fire and promptly extinguished once more crews arrived at the scene.

An investigation is underway into what may have sparked the blaze. No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the incident.
