SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio reported a single fatality resulting from a single-vehicle crash along Loop 1604 early Friday morning.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. along the freeway access road near the intersection with Bitters Road.
Police say a woman in her 40s lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons and crashed over a barrier on the access road. Her vehicle then spun out and struck a utility pole nearby.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending further investigation into the crash.
