Single-vehicle collision reported in southwest San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a domestic animal in the roadway last Saturday night.

The accident occurred within the 8600 block of Flint Valley Street at the intersection with Horal Street at about 8:47 p.m.

Investigators say the 19-year-old driver of a 2014 Dodge swerved to avoid striking an animal in the roadway and collided head-on with a fixed object.

Fortunately, the driver was uninjured in the crash. No information with regard to the animal is mentioned in the report.
