Single-vehicle collision reported near Stinson Airport

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision along Mission Rd. early Monday morning.

The accident occurred within the 8700 block of Mission Rd. just south of the Stinson Municipal Airport at about midnight.

Investigators say the 16-year-old male behind the wheel of a 2004 Toyota struck a domestic animal in the roadway causing the collision.

Neither the driver nor his 18-year-old female passenger was injured as a result of the crash.
