CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a single-vehicle high-speed crash along South Staples Street late Monday night.
The collision was reported just south of the intersection of South Staples St. and Oso Parkway just before 11:00 p.m. near the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center.
Police say the 45-year-old male driver of a 1998 Ford lost control of his vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with a fixed object on the roadway.
The unidentified man was not injured in the crash.
