Single-vehicle DUI crash reported on Morrison Rd.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a suspected DUI crash near I-69E last Thursday morning.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Morrison Road and Old U.S. Highway 77 at about 3:39 a.m.

Officials at the scene say the 23-year-old male driver of a 2013 Chevrolet made a wide right turn and collided head-on with a fixed object.

Neither the driver nor his 19-year-old female passenger was injured as a result of the crash. However, he was arrested on a suspected DUI charge.
