Six-year-old remains in critical condition following ATV crash

HIDALGO COUNTY, TX – According to KRGV, a six-year-old boy remains in critical condition over a week after he was injured in an ATV accident.

The crash took place on FM 1015 near Mile 20 Road at about midnight last Sunday, when the boy’s mother lost control of the ATV and crashed into a canal. Tall grass reportedly obscured the ditch, leading to the crash.

The boy has been hospitalized since the accident and is currently unresponsive.

The incident did not involve alcohol and has been ruled an accident.
