Skateboarder injured in hit-and-run incident

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man on a skateboard was taken to the hospital after being hit by a hit-and-run suspect early Friday morning, KSAT reports. 

The victim was riding his skateboard on Vance Jackson Road between De Zavala Road and Huebner Road around 1:45 a.m. when he was struck by a black sedan.

The driver sped off, leaving the injured victim on the ground.

The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police are investigating the accident.
