Street Racing on I-35 sends six to the hospital

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Six people are in the hospital and another has been arrested for DWI following a street racing collision early Sunday morning, KSAT reports.

The accident happened on the I-35 frontage road and AT&T Parkway around 2:20 a.m. Two vehicles were racing at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour when one of them, a Ford Mustang, crashed into a divider and rear-ended a van and a truck.

The five people in the van, two adults and three children, and the truck driver were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Mustang driver was uninjured but was arrested for DWI.
