Suspected drunk driver crashes on I-35

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A suspected drunk driver has been hospitalized in serious condition after crashing on I-35, reports Fox San Antonio.

Police responded to a crash in the southbound lanes of I-35 near Guadalupe Street at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. The car had crashed into the median and the driver was trapped inside.

The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say he was showing signs of intoxication and suspect that alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
