Suspected DWI crash in Corpus Christi injures 1

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a suspected DWI collision near SH358 earlier this week.

The accident took place on May 16th at about 3:35 p.m. along Weber Road, near the intersection with Tiger Lane.

Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department say the driver of a 2012 Ford, a 36-year-old man, was under the influence when his vehicle sideswiped a 2001 Chevrolet.

Both drivers involved in Sunday’s Corpus Christi DWI crash were unhurt. However, a 26-year-old female passenger in the Chevrolet sustained unknown injuries as a result.
