MCALLEN, TX – Police in McAllen reported at least two injuries resulting from a T-bone collision in the De Palmas Historic District Tuesday afternoon.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. within the 700 block of Gumwood Avenue at the intersection with North 8th Street.
Responding officers believe the driver of a 2007 Ford, a 57-year-old man, failed to yield the right of way to a 2019 Toyota when traveling through the intersection. The Toyota then collided head-on with the front driver’s side of the Ford.
The driver and a passenger in the Toyota sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The man responsible for the crash was not hurt.
