Teen hurt following head-on crash in Donna

DONNA, TX – One teenager was reportedly injured as the result of a head-on collision near Boyce Memorial Park in Donna late last month.

The May 29th crash took place at about 6:48 p.m. within the 2500 block of Silver Avenue, near the intersection with South 23rd Street.

Responding officers with the Donna Police Department believe the 17-year-old male driver of a 2021 Ford failed to yield the right of way to a 2008 Honda, causing the two vehicles to collide head-on.

Both drivers involved in the crash were unhurt. However, a 16-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles sustained unknown injuries.
