SAN BENITO, TX – A teenager was killed and three other people were injured following a two-vehicle collision near San Benito yesterday evening.
According to KRGV, the incident happened at about 8 p.m. Monday on FM 732, just south of its intersection with Resaca Llena Drive. The male driver of a northbound Lincoln Town Car lost control of his vehicle and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the Lincoln and his two male passengers were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the passengers—a 16-year-old boy from San Benito—died. The driver of the Silverado was also hospitalized, and was in stable condition as of this morning.
