Toyota backs into Chevrolet in a residential Corpus Christi neighborhood

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A rear-end collision took place in a residential neighborhood near Cabaniss Field Airport last Tuesday evening.

The April 6th crash took place at about 4:20 p.m. within the 6000 block of Sharolyn Street just west of SH-286.

Police say the 55-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2003 Toyota backed into the front driver’s side of a 2017 Chevrolet.

Luckily, neither the man responsible for the crash nor the 57-year-old woman in the Chevrolet was hurt as a result of the crash.
