Train critically injures skateboarder near King William

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A train collided with and critically injured a skateboarder at S Presa St and Conrad St Sunday, KTSA reports.

The victim attempted to avoid hitting the train by jumping off his skateboard. Despite his efforts, he struck the train and was drug a short distance until the train came to rest.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site around 10 p.m. They transported the victim to Brooke Army Medical Center with head injuries and a missing leg.
