Troopers on the Scene of Suspected DWI Rollover Crash in Northwest Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a suspected drunk driver on Friday, February 12th.

The accident took place at about 9:50 a.m. within the 27000 block of Iowa Gardens Road just east of the intersection with Nelson Road.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, troopers believe the 32-year-old male driver of a 2004 Ford was under the influence of alcohol when he rolled his vehicle.

The driver was not hurt in the crash. It is unclear if he will face any charges at this time.
