Truck crashes into home after racing

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT12, a pickup truck hit a house after seemingly racing another vehicle early Friday morning.

The crash took place around 4 a.m. on Friday on Division Avenue. Police believe a pickup truck and another vehicle were racing before the crash. The racing vehicles hit two other cars and downed two utility poles, leaving more than 600 homes and businesses without electricity.

No one in the house was injured in the crash. The homeowners credit a large tree outside the house for preventing their injuries and further damage to the house.

The drivers of both racing vehicles fled the crash scene before the police arrived.
