SAN ANTONIO, TX- A San Antonio driver passed away after a deadly crash with an 18-wheeler, according to KSAT. The driver was estimated to be in his early 30s. Early in the morning, the truck collided with the 18-wheeler just off the West Loop north access road, near highway 151.
The victim was going unusually fast at the time of the accident. Additionally, the victim did not wear a seatbelt. After the initial crash, the victim’s truck lodged itself under the 18-wheeler. San Antonio authorities are currently investigating as to whether the driver was distracted at the time of the wreck.
