Two injured in car collision in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Two people were injured in a car accident involving two vehicles Friday afternoon, according to KRIS.

Authorities say the accident happened at the intersection of Waldron Road and South Padre Island Drive on Friday afternoon.

A car that was headed northbound on Waldron was struck by another vehicle that ran a red light at SPID.

One person was ejected from a vehicle, and their condition is not available.

Another person was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
