Two people injured in Corpus Christi car crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Two people were injured in a two-car collision on Friday afternoon. The incident was reported on Carmel Parkway near Walmart at 2:33 p.m. The 89-year-old driver of a tan 2009 Kia failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a 2000 green Toyota. Both the 89-year-old woman and the driver of the Toyota, an 86-year-old woman, were injured in the crash.

Both vehicles suffered moderate damage in the collision.
