PHARR, TX – Officers with the Pharr Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision on I-69E last Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported shortly before 1 p.m. along I-69E just north of the exit to East Ferguson Avenue.
Police believe the 21-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2007 Nissan attempted to change lanes when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the front passenger side of a 2008 Chevrolet.
Neither the man responsible nor the 80-year-old woman in the Chevrolet was injured as an immediate result of the crash.
