U.S. Highway 77 southbound closed after 18-wheeler accident

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – According to KIII, the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 77 have been shut down after an 18-wheeler crash Monday morning.

The accident occurred on Highway 77 near Bishop before noon, and the southbound lanes were completely shut down by Monday afternoon.

No information has been released concerning the cause of the crash, but speculation is circulating that the incident was weather-related.
