SAN ANTONIO, TX – Three people were hospitalized following a previously reported major collision involving a VIA bus in south San Antonio earlier today.
According to KSAT, the accident took place shortly after 1 p.m. within the 800 block of South Flores Street.
Firefighters say the driver of an unspecified vehicle collided with the rear of a VIA Metropolitan Transit bus. Three other vehicles then crashed into the rear of the first.
Of the 15 individuals on the bus, only a few were treated for minor injuries at the scene. Three other occupants in the vehicles involved were hospitalized in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
