Update: Officials ID motorcyclist who died in crash near Palo Alto College

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials have released the name of the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a semi-truck at TX 16 NB and I-410 on June 29, according to KSAT.

Noel Zapata, 41, ran a red light at the intersection when he slammed into the side of a semi-truck that was turning onto TX 16 from I-410.

The collision pinned Zapata underneath the semi-truck and he was dragged an unknown distance.

First responders pronounced Zapata dead at the scene of the accident.
