CASTLE HILLS, TX – According to KSAT, authorities have disclosed additional details concerning a fatal crash on the EB I-410 Access Rd and NW Military Hwy Thursday.
The pickup truck driver crashed into a concert barrier around 5:30 a.m. Emergency crews initially thought the driver was the vehicle’s only occupant because the female passenger was lodged under the dashboard. Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
Emergency crews cut open both pickup truck doors to extricate the victims. First responders then rushed the two victims to an area hospital, where they later died.
Though neither victim had identification, the truck was registered to someone in Devine Tx. Authorities are hoping that will help them to identify the victims eventually.
