LINN, TX – According to Valley Central, the 90-year-old victim of a fatal crash at Floral Road and Lazy Palms Dr has been identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Eldon Olney was driving a Saturn when he failed to yield the right of way to a semi-truck towing a dump trailer and collided with it.
First responders pronounced Olney dead at the scene. A female passenger was taken to an area hospital. The truck driver was unharmed.
The incident is still under investigation by DPS.
