Victim identified in fatal West Side crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the identity of the man killed in a single-vehicle collision in late November.

According to KSAT, 50-year-old Gilberto Rodriguez lost control of his vehicle within the intersection of Hunt Lane and the Highway 151 frontage road at around 2:30 a.m. on November 28.

Rodriguez’s vehicle careened into a tree just outside of the intersection. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

We do not know what caused Rodriguez to lose control of his vehicle at this time.
