Weaving car crashes on Chestnut Hill Drive

WESLACO, TX – A woman driving a GMC crashed into a Toyota on Monday when she failed to stay in one lane on the road.

The Weslaco Police Department reports that a 67-year-old woman driving a red 2012 GMC was weaving between lanes on Chestnut Hill Drive near Hidden Valley Drive. The GMC crashed into a silver 2015 Toyota at approximately 11:28 a.m. on May 11.

The GMC’s front right bumper crashed into the Toyota causing moderate property damage. The GMC did not require a tow truck to remove it from the scene after the accident.

The GMC’s driver did not sustain any injuries in the accident. The police have not reported the condition of the driver in the Toyota.

The GMC will be held responsible for the accident due to unsafe driving.
