MCALLEN, TX – Police reported at least one injury resulting from a head-on collision in southwest McAllen last Saturday, January 16th.
The accident occurred just before 7 p.m. within the 2500 block of Elmira Avenue just a few blocks from Balboa Park.
Investigators believe the 45-year-old male driver of a 2007 Ford failed to stop at the posted stop sign and collided head-on with a 2012 Jeep.
Neither driver involved in the crash were injured. However, a 47-year-old female passenger in the Jeep suffered minor injuries in the crash.
