BROWNSVILLE, TX – One woman sustained an injury as the result of a collision in Northeast Brownsville late Monday night.
The collision was reported shortly before midnight just east of the intersection of Boca Chica Boulevard and East 14th Street.
Officials with the Brownsville Police Department believe the 37-year-old female driver of a 2011 Dodge attempted to switch lanes but failed to notice an approaching 2002 Chevrolet and struck the car.
The driver of the Dodge sustained a non-incapacitating injury as a result of the crash. None of the 6 other individuals involved in the accident were hurt.
