Woman injured in collision on Santa Rosa Ave.

SAN ANTONIO, TX  – Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department are looking into the cause of a single-vehicle collision near I-35 Sunday afternoon.

The crash was reported at about 3:40 p.m. near the intersection of Santa Rosa Ave. and El Paso Street.

Officials at the scene say the 22-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2003 Ford failed to pay attention to the road in front of her and collided head-on with a fixed object. The driver was reported injured as an immediate result of the crash while her 20-year-old female passenger was not hurt.
