Woman injured in McAllen rear-end collision

MCALLEN, TX – Officials with the McAllen Police Department have reported one injury resulting from a two-vehicle collision on Trenton Road last Wednesday.

The accident was reported at about 12:15 p.m. within the 1300 block of Trenton Rd. near the intersection with North Main Street.

Police say the 31-year-old male driving a 2016 Toyota failed to control his speed and collided with the rear of a 2019 Chevrolet. The driver of the Chevrolet, an unidentified 51-year-old woman was injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the extent of her injuries have not yet been released.
