Woman seriously injured in I-35 rollover accident

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Local news reports that a woman was cut from her vehicle after it rolled over on the I-35 southbound ramp to US-90 westbound on Friday morning about 2:30 a.m.

San Antonio firefighters used the “jaws of life” to extract the woman trapped inside her SUV.

Authorities stated that the woman was speeding and hit the guardrail before her SUV turned on its side.

The woman, estimated to be in her 50s, was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Alcohol was a factor in the accident and police say that the woman will be charged with a DWI.
