To me, Selena was so much more than just a performer, she was a real person with real morals. She wasn't just an airbrushed beauty like every other star. I've been a Selena fan for as long as I could remember. My mom says that it's because when she was pregnant with me she would listen to Selena. Like most kids my age, I learned about Selena from the movie. I remember my VHS copy of the movie had Selena's performance of the Disco Medley at her last concert. I would dance along to it and I learned the moves. One day my sister walked in with the camera. It was so embarrassing for me. I was in my underwear, but what can I say, I still do that today. Selena inspired me to never give up because she never gave up. It just goes to show that with hard work, your wildest dreams can come true because the impossible is always possible.
