Greg: Is Texting and Driving illegal in Texas?

Greg: Texting and driving is not illegal in Texas in most situations.

Greg: Situations arise when you can and cannot text and drive in the state of Texas. As an Injury lawyer, I’ll explain in more detail the certain situations when texting and driving is okay and is not okay.

Greg: For example, in Texas, there are certain cities, about 40 cities in Texas that say it's illegal to text and drive.

Greg: Corpus Christi, Texas is one of them so you can't text and drive. But, there are always exceptions. Those exceptions where you are unable to text and drive is a school zone school. Also, certain types of drivers are not allowed to text and drive like; Bus drivers can not text and drive, people getting their learners permit, and people under 18 years of age can not text and drive.
