Joy ride ends in crash, abandoned vehicle

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police believe that a joyride ended in a pickup truck crashed and abandoned on the city’s west side Monday night, KENS 5 reports.

Authorities discovered a pickup truck crashed through a guardrail and over a retaining wall near Wurzbach and Ingram Roads at about midnight on Monday. The driver was seen fleeing the scene on foot.

Police said the driver was a child who had taken their parents’ vehicle without permission. No injuries have been reported.
