Wrong-way driver flees crash scene after hitting a parked car

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Fox San Antonio, a suspected DUI driver hit a parked car in East San Antonio and then fled the crash scene.

The accident took place on East Commerce Street near the intersection with Gevers Street. The driver was speeding the wrong way down Commerce when they hit a parked car. The driver then fled the crash scene.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. Police say the suspect’s vehicle smelled strongly of alcohol.
