CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – According to KIIITV, the fuel tanker that crashed yesterday on Commodores Drive near South Padre Island Drive rolled over when its cargo shifted during a turn.
The crash took place at around 10:30 a.m., when the tanker rolled onto its side. The company that owns the truck drilled a hole in the trailer to remove the fuel the vehicle was carrying. Crews then worked to clear the wreck from the crash scene.
Only the truck’s driver was involved in the accident, and he was not hurt in the accident.
