Woman arrested on suspicion of DWI after hitting and killing a pedestrian

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Fox San Antonio, a woman has been arrested after she hit and killed a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk.

The crash took place on Wurzbach Road near Bandera Road just after midnight on Sunday. The driver of an SUV crossed over a double yellow line, drove onto a sidewalk, and hit the pedestrian. The victim was killed at the crash scene.

The SUV stopped when it hit a tree. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
