Suspected drunk driver arrested after downtown San Antonio crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was taken into custody following a suspected drunk driving crash near downtown San Antonio on Friday morning.

According to a report by KENS, the crash took place at about 1 a.m. as the driver of a black pickup truck was traveling north on Broadway and running a number of red lights.

Police say the pickup drove through the light at Grayson Street and T-boned another pickup. The second vehicle then overturned in the roadway.

The man in the at-fault vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DWI.

Fortunately, neither driver suffered major injuries in the crash.
